I know this was a std thing to do with small block heads(chev, ford and mopars) a few years ago, but what is the lowdown on angle milling a sl/6 head? Has anybody tried it? How did it work? Are there any drawbacks? How much of an angle? Is it worth the trouble?

I have angle milled one head, took .100 off the spark plug side and about .020 off the manifold side. The head bolt holes would bend the bolt over to the side a little so I ground a little at the tops and the carb mounting was no longer flat, I did not find any real performance advantage so I never did any other heads like that.
