Thanks Dan. The carburetor was a rebuild, but the idle system not working. This carburetor it´s very easy to rebuild, i dont understand the problem. The problem is not permanent and the main metering system works very well.. |

Transient problems like this suggest there's dirt or corrosion in some of the very small idle passages in your carb. You may want to try using a spray can of carburetor cleaner to backflush the two idle air bleeds (one small and one tiny) that face the sky; you can see them on the front wall of the carb throat once you remove the air cleaner. |

I'm not sure what part you mean by "idle well". Can you show us in one of the pictures? |

Dan the part is a brass tube on the galosine pass to the main jet to idle system. |

SL6 CHILE, On page 13 of the 1920 manual, figure 6 shows a picture of the idle well. You can pull the screws holding the economizer body (see figure 8a) in place and clean out the passage way with a piece of 10 to 12 pound nylon fishing line and blow it out with carb cleaner. If that doesn't work and you hit a some blockage use a guitar string. That should clear up your problem. |

That brass tube should not move. It should be solidly fixed in place. |
