I'm putting the finishing touches on my slant. It should be ready to drop in the truck this weekend. I know that valve clearance is .010 and .020 warm, but what should I have them set at (cold) for the intital start up and cam break-in? I've got a new stock grind cam and new lifters. |

The '78 manual says temporarily cold setting of .012" for intake, .028" for exhaust. Olaf |
