I've got myself a bad rod bearing on #6...the crank looks like it'll live.

The bearing is marked 2375-SB with an F/M under it and a 10 under the F/M..not an 010 but a 10. I'm pretty certain that the crank is 10 under on that journal, it dialed in at 2.176.

The other jourals seem normal at 2.187 or close and do not have the 10 under the F/M. This is just the first time I've ran across a crank with only 1 journal turned

Feedback?

That used to be a fairly common practice. There were even mobile crank grinding machine that could turn the crank with the engine in the car.

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.

Do you have a Maltese Cross stamped on the pad near the engine ID number? If so that undersize journal could be factory. Is there a date on the bearing?
