| Post subject: | Getting ready for the rebuild. |
Hello all, I am getting ready to send my block and head to the machine shop this week. I will be using a five plug BH block and a 3698447-4 head for this rebuild and will be putting a Super Six intake on it. I am building this motor for my 63 Valiant Signet 200 which is a push button with he original tranny that was just rebuilt two years ago. I will be using that tranny for my newer motor. My question is can I use the older crank in the newer motor so I will not have any problems bolting the tranny up? Thank you for taking your time to read this. |

Why not keep the late crank, and use a $25 dollar adapter ring in the end of the crank? That way, you could use a late model trans/converter, in the future, if needed. |

Well if that is all that thing costs I will do that I thought the adapter was more than that. Where can I get one from? |
