I am building a 1920's styled roadster, powered by a slant six (of course). Motor is a 1964 225. Got it out of some grandma's rear ended dart. It was a lucky find at 28000 original miles.
Would the stock water pump push coolant well enough to put a rear mounted radiator in the car?
thanks.

Short answer is NO. I have had a lot of recent heartburn with this on my engine test stand. I wanted to remote mount the radiator and have a valve to by pass it and put it on city water. I will have to use a booster pump or do it a different way.
Also launches will tend to keep the water to the rear and no "flow" will happen for a few secounds.
You may want to try a horazontal unit.
Hope this helps,
Frank
