Hold the phone up to it, so i can see it...
If you look down the carb, and activate the accelerator pump, does it squirt fuel? Fresh or reasonably fresh, viable fuel. What is the position of the choke flap?

When you pull a plug wire, and create a reasonable gap, and crank the motor, do you have a consistent spark?

Next, I'd use a timing light to rule out a slipped timing chain, and inspect the distributor for a loose bolt.

Then I'd want to look at the spark plugs if not any firing or back firing.

Ballast resistor .
No. If it runs at all, even for just a few seconds, it's not the ballast resistor.

This may sound like stupid advice from waay back, but have you checked that some little rascal haven't shoved a potato up your tailpipe (the car's, that is!)? Another possibility is that your gas tank is under vacuum if the ventilation is clogged, then you should hear a rush of air intake to the tank when you twist off the gas cap just after the engine has died. I'm serious, I have had cars with both those problems myself. Olaf

your accelerator pump might not be in good shape. could maybe be a fuel pump. ive had both happen in different vehicles. heck my dads 85 toyota's fuel pump went out. you could run it just idling no problem. soon as you put a load on it if you didnt let go of the gas it would die. have you re bult your carb lately?

Yea I checked the vacuum it was good no start. 7:30 - 20min drive to work. 3:00 -20min drive home. 4:00- 10min 40mph drive to store. 4:30 going back home w/in 2-4min small jolt then a few seconds & cutoff at about 30mph. Could it be my Carb? Weak spark? Owner? (A couple lose bolts lol) site tech ? How do you do that quote thing in this site?

What is your vacuum at idle when the engine is running?
