Building a sheet metal intake and tube headers for my slant six. i am wanting to convert it from the single barrel carb to a two barrel. What carb came on the original super six motors? is there a preferable two barrel carb other than the super six's? thanks |

Check out page 44 in manual #1 (the first link) on this page: http://slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38601 Some people have used a BBD from a 318, but the true Super Six carb is supposed to work better on a slant. You should be able to find one on e-bay. Good luck. Roger |

The super six had a Carter BBD or a Holley 2280. Another good choice is the Holley 5200. Hope this helps, Frank |
