| Post subject: | purge lines to charcoal cannister on 73 dart |
the 2 lines from the carb to the charcoal cannister and the one line from the fuel tank...........can i plug off these lines and eliminate the cannister to "clean-up" the engine compartment?.........no emmisions after35 years here in nc. |

That would be an unhelpful thing to do. The canister works for you, not against you. If you plug it off your fuel tank won't be properly or safely vented. See this post. |

I agree, it is very nice to have it hooked up and working. The car smells so much better with it.....especially during heat soak on hot days. Click on the red link below my name for pictures on routing the lines. I tried to clean it up the best I could...... |
