I noticed that the Super Six intake has a largish protrusion from the EGR system below the intake ports. Should this be ground down? I intend to block the EGR and fill in the passage so that the floor of the intake was level... Is removing the bulge in the floor a good idea, bad idea?

The bump matters very little for flow. I've drilled, tapped and plugged this passage, but on the outside where it's easier to do.
