does anyone have any input on the after market electronic ignition conversion kit offered by mancini? i am about to order and thought i would check and see if its ok.

No worries. Around here we like stuff with wide parts availability. HEI and factory ignition boxes are the most popular and all most people need if they don't want or need a rev limiter.
