What would be the best place to get a 2600 stall converter for a904 behind a slant. And how much should I expect to pay? |

I have two from Edge racing converters, One has been in two cars and I am happy with it, the other is still on the shelf. You will need to call them and give them you engine/car specs, they will them make a reccomendation and give you a price. http://edgeracingconverters.com/

Expect to pay $400-500 shipped. Midwest Converters, Continental Converters, and FTI converters are all reputable places. DO NOT spend less than $400 for a new converter, or you will be sorry. Lou |

i'm running an ACC Boss Hog converter and it works great. its not pretty looking out of the box. You can see its been hand built. i got two of these because i got the 2800-3200 stall and it was too low for my build. i'm running 3600-4200 now and its great. tell me more about your build. |

I am building a 210-250hp slant. Its a 225 bored .080 over. 10-1 compression. Oversized valves heavy porting. Holley 390cfm 4bbl bored and custom built. Custom Erson Cam RDP 288/280 duration with .485 lift. |

thats close to my build. i ran a 390 holley for a while but i wend to a 650 edlebrock. I was a lot happier with the power and top end. But if you had it customized and have someone that can tune it well... anyway. if you want to get the cheapest converter you can that is still worth a damn i would get the boss hog 3200-3600stall. It sounds high but because its a 6 your true stall would be around 2500. http://www.accperformance.com/Products/index.html |
