Does anyone know if you can put 72 Dart rear springs on a 60 Valiant? They are A Bodies right? Thanks. |

There is a link up in the FAQ's that suggests that the springs are the same dimensionally. We'll need someone to pipe up about the anchor points and bushings though. I don't know. CJ |

Hooked, You can use the later springs, but you will have to enlarge the front spring mounting hole in the front hanger.Otherwise ,youll be fine with the later spring, this is what I did to my 60 Valiant. HyperValiant |

You guys are great! There's a guy selling some springs in my area for $50 so I think I'll jump on that. Vroom Vroom |

I got a set from a 66 V8 Wagon that bolted up to my 64 with a slant 6. What I remember is that the interchange book showed that even the springs from a 57 De Soto would fit. What I am saying is that rear springs from other bodies may fit-you need some one with an interchange book to see all that fits. Also if you can get the front hanger with the spring-just in case... 4speed, The front hanger on the 60 Val is unique to the 60 Val but the springs have the same diminsion from 60 to 76 with only the hanger bolts changing sizes. HyperValiant |
