Has anyone found a 180* temp/fan switch to fit our /6s? Been looking w no availe. I have my electric fan wired to acc, so its on as long as the key is turned. Runs kind if cool.
Plus I do need to do the dash panel regulater mod.

This is what I have been using the last 4 plus years .....

The radiator switch is a Wells TS217, 3/8" NPT, two terminal.
The boss, is a 3/8 pipe thread plug installed where the vacuum switch is located in the radiator tank.

You will find this one on most GM products. It is very heavy duty.

A 180 switch at the tank is too low of a temp. Your fan would be running constantly.
You want it to com on only when necessary, like when stuck in heavy traffic, not moving. The SL6 cooling system is very efficient. In fact the system is good I can run a 205 degree stat much of the year in the Puget Sound region. The result is much better mileage. In the spring and summer I drop back to a 195 degree stat or if we are over 100 degrees I will drop down to a 180 stat. That is based on running 0-30W Mobil 1 and total timing between 50 and 55 degrees.
