I got a 1973 dodge dart swinger with a 225 in it and an automatic transmission, but i would rather have a 5 speed. I'm still inexperienced. I want to turn the car into a daily driver/weekend road racer eventually. What would be good transmissions and rear ends to use? Getting ratios would be nice as well. I'd like to go with more modern setups but whatever you guys suggest is all good. |

No bolt up options for a 5 speed. Most folks use a T5 Ford Mustang trans and 8 3/4 rear 3.23 gears would be a good start. Frank |

NO WAYYY to heavy. Actually an 8 1/4 is plenty stout enough but you cant change gears easy.Frank |
