I'm about to replace the timing chain, gears and cover. a couple of questions: 1) should I also replace the oil seal? 2) how do I remove the crankshaft gear? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dan |

Yes on the oil seal, nows the time while you can get at it. A gear puller, two or three leg which ever you have that has the depth.Good luck |

....and get a sleeve kit for your damper if there any groves in it. If not the new seal won't seal at all....... |

When I did mine I HAD to use a 3 jaw puller with a cage around the jaws to keep it on the gear. good luck |
