I just got the short block back from the machine shop and started to put on my windage tray. I used the ARP studs. The holes in tray had to be opened up to the 1/2" studs. The extra thick nuts ARP uses for these do not let the tray get any closer than 250-300 thou(eyeball). Mike (J&M) recomended 80-100 thou roughly. I hate to take the nuts off and am not sure what to use if I did. Has any one used these studs with the J&M windage tray and how did it work out? Thanks Steve |

Sounds like you will need to face some material off the studs / nuts, or bend some dips into the tray's mounting rails. DD |
