I feel a fight coming on! I am almost finished going through the front end on my truck; I know I should have gone the "rest of" the way but I can do that another time; unreplaced parts appear tight and no slop; but my old D 250 pick em up, definitely needed new bushings and coils; Thanks ESPO! everyone in town quoted me $186 for a set of springs; (that's cash n carry) ESPO had em for $90; that's USA made MOOG at that.... Yay; No more "Leftward lean"! so along with that (OK, I know, someone will flame me for this) I replaced every bushing in the front end with... POLY! I liked the results on my now departed Cherokee so well that I ordered poly for both my truck and the new replacement Cherokee.... Tomorrow I get to take the truck in for my 1st ever "do it for me" alignment; between working as an alignment guy for 18 years (no longer) and the local Career center, whose teacher I worked with for 10+ of those 18 years; they just started their "spring (Easter) break so I get to take it in and HAVE it aligned; the mere thought HAVING others work on my truck makes my skin crawl; if they dare call me up with a list of "we found ____________ also wrong and it will cost you $___________ before it can be aligned, I will NOT be happy; and I will be asking for a printout of "before/after"....... |
