I've been searching around for replacement 'front channel seals' (I guess that's the technical term) for my '71 dart. You know...the stuff that goes in front of the side windows in that channel, to seal from air or whatever...well the best source I can find is $65 EACH! Does anyone know of a better source or some generic cut-to-fit stuff I can put in there? That just seems so expensive for a basic part! |

See this thread for reputable suppliers. If you want cheap-cheap-cheap, you can try your luck with JC Witless, but the odds are pretty strong you'll wind up with the wrong stuff, or it'll be the right shape but poor quality. Remember, in the long run it's usually less costly and easier to do the job once properly with good-quality parts and supplies than to do it multiple times because of cheap or "make it almost kinda fit" components. |
