I'm finnaly back in the states I'm nos statione in Minot, ND not a bad place just dang cold! Last week I went back to AZ to pick the Dart up and bring it back. I went through hell getting it ready to bring back. To make a long story short I bought a nice rally wheels with tires for $400. They ended up being big bolt pattern. So I had to convert it to the big pattern which gave me disc brakes. The down side I had to put an 8 1/4 rear in it.

Here's some of the swap.

Unless it originally had an 8.75, you've upgraded all the running gear. No down side there! :D

No there wasn't an 8 3/4 in it. I wish there was then the wheels would have fit.

Actually, all A Body 8.75s (real late 65 through 72) came with the SBP. They can be up[graded with aftermarket axles or certain C and truck LBP axles can be shortened and resplined to fit. I've got 2 done that way and 3 stock SBP 8.75s. You probably had the 7.25 so the 8.25 and discs are a good upgrade.

Didn't know 8.75 came in SBP. Now I do thanks! More pics to come just waiting on weather to pull her out of the garage.

I did 18 months in the USAF at Grand Forks, ND (back in the SAC days)....I feel your pain.

The northern part of that state is unnaturally cold.

Nice car.

I'm retired USAF - 66 to 86 and was lucky enough to have never spent any time at either Minot or Grand Forks. Over the course of 20 years, spent time at Hanscom AFB, MA, Seville Spain, Carswell Ft Worth Tx, obligatory year in Nam (Da Nang and points north), Charleston AFB SC, Andersen AFB Guam, Pease AFB NH, back to Guam (volunteer cause I liked it) and Andrews AFB MD. Not really a bad assignment in the lot!

I was Air Force May '94 to '98. Lackland, Keesler and Onizuka were my only bases outside of a two month training TDY at Ft. Gordon. I was 2E151 Satcom/Wideband, got out and went right into telecom. I've been back in Satcom for 5 1/2 years now.

Looks like a nice car! Keep it out of the salt.

Let's see; Marquette, Lowry, Mt. Home and Anderson. Marquette doesn't really count 'cause I was only visiting a friend. I had to stop at Mountain Home to get money when my van broke. Who knew it was that far off the freeway!

But then again, I was Navy. go figure that out!
Went to NCOLS on Anderson, and went to Metrology school at Lowry.

I sure would like to get a couple "Rocky Mountain Navy" Bumper stickers. Those were too cool!

I need some pointers on this. The front end never settled and I'm not sure what exactly to do.

Are the torsion bar adjusters backed out all the way?
