| Post subject: | Fuse Box Infeed Wire Melting! |
I have been having problems with my gas gauge and temperature gauge not working. I have tried many things (including checking the board, changing voltage limiter etc...). Finally I looked at the back of my fuse box and noticed that the wire labelled "battery infeed" on the electrical diagrams is at least partially melted. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I can change the wire, but I would like to solve the problem so I don't have to keep changing them! Thanks Jason |

A high amp load, could be caused by a bad connection causing a higher amp to get the power through. |

Any idea where to look for a bad connection? Could it be the voltage regulator? |

Look after the infeed, like the fuse block (good clean terminals if you do not blow correct amp fuses) |
