my van has always been a dog and I blamed it on the fact that it was a 6 banger with a one barrel, so as Im upgrading to a 2 Barrel I figured I would try to see what the ratio was in the rear end. I thought it felt like a 355 or less but I checked the tag and its stamped 0396 but if I flip it over it reads 0369. witch was more likely to be installed in a 1979 dodge shorty van? |

Neither. That tag isn't telling you what the ratio is. To check the ratio, see this post. |

If your rig still has the factory build sheet pasted to the hood (thats where it is on my pickup) it might tell you. |
