anybody have any experience with vinyl paints or dyes? i just got some nice seats for my valiant but they are gold, i need them to be blue. |

A couple of years ago I used (I think it was Krylon, but I can't swear to it) spray can black vinyl paint on the TMC Duster's green steering wheel. I just followed the instructions and it looked great. However, it was winter so I did it in the house and the strong smell lasted for a week, much much worse than typical spray paint. Next time I'll do it outdoors. Eventually the paint started to wear off the rim, but it lasted way longer than I anticipated - I had planned to put a cover on the rim, but it held up so well I didn't bother. |
