i purchased a new rebuilt after market 1920 holly carb for my 72 dart 198 ci motor.i hate it.starts ok,runs great for awhile,but most of the time i have to goose or feather it at stop signs,light,etc.it wants to stall,than other times at redlights it wants to take off by itself,idols faster.i have to hold the break on or put it in neutral.what could be the problem with this carb?what do you guys recommend as a new replacement carb,not rebuilt.does anyone know the correct original numbers of the 72 factory carb? i have a near by junkyard that has 5/6 darts in it,some have carbs on them. any help would be appreciated.
