I ordered form rockauto a set of .010 mains and rods for the motor out of the 66 dart they all fit except for the rear main and everywhere I look they all list the same part number as the one I have now. I'm waiting for a responce from rockauto but I doubt I will get one today. I wanted to put this motor in our 69 D100 this weekend   Why do the car gods hate me?

Dude, that's the #3 main bearing. Look at the crankcase and you'll see #3 is machined to accept the thrust bearing.

Just don't be damaging that bearing by beating the harmonic balancer on, please use the proper tool !

Thrust bearing?!?!? Isn't that the one that gets "machined off" as

that I leave open incase I get a CRS moment...
