Seems so simple... apparently it's not. First I tried threading them off as I have seen Dan mention and they don't want to follow the threads. Then I tried cutting it off and I can't get snips in there. Advice?

If I am indeed supposed to thread them off, how do I grab them to do it?

These are NGK ZFR5N plugs.

I grab the washers with needle nose pliers and twist them off, but I'm just mean like that. :D

I got it, I was just being too careful, afraid to damage the threads. I did it by grabbing them around with big pliers, squeezing tight and using a ratchet to turn the plug. The threads may have taken a little bit of a hit but the plugs went in fine and the engine runs great.

I just grab them with an old set of side cutters, snip, then grab them again and twist the side cutters. They come right off. :D

I use a small pair of electrical flush cutters.

I span them with slip-joint pliers and simply unscrew them.
