Can someone give me an idea on adjusting kickdown on my 64 valiant in easy terms?It isn't kicking back to second unless i hit the gas real hard and sometimes gets first.Seems to be changing from 1 to 3rd a bit quick for me,takes longer if i nail it but steady and i,m in 3rd in 50 metres.Its a pushbutton auto.Thanks AL. :shrug:

Just lengthen the rod that goes to the trans(from the throttle rod), a small amount, at a time, untill it kicks down. It sounds like it will not take much.
