A traditional gasser would probably have an A100 van solid axle under the front on a fabricated frame. You can also raise a Dart by adjusting the torsion bar bolts on the lower control arms, although the look isn't quite the same. For the rear, use Super Stock springs, and if that's not enough lift, longer shackles. The stock upper shock mounts are not strong enough to take air shocks.the parts or adjustments i need to do this. i like that high gasser look but not to high maybe air shocks for back? thank you for reading this wayne By 1966, you'd often see the front and rear suspension moved forward substantially. See this link for the original example. It also shows the solid axle conversion. http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/landys64.html |
