i want to raise my 66 dart front and rear and would like to know the parts or adjustments i need to do this. i like that high look but not to high i was told to add a leaf or two to the rear and adjust the torsion bars in the front is this correct? thank you for reading this wayne |

In effect that is what you will need to do. Depending on the torsion bars installed, you may need to get stiffer ones to get much altitude! Seriously though, if the springs and T-Bars are worn out, it may be easier to replace them with new parts. Watch out for JCWhitney though. They ship the wrong parts sometimes. They shipped me F-Body springs on an A-Body part number. Call John R Spring (Look up their phone number via the Internet) Order directly from them. Tell them what you want, I'm sure they can oblige. You may be able to search and find somebody locally that can set you up as well. Often times the difference in price gets eaten by shipping. When you raise the car, you will take a hit in fuel economy and handling. Just be aware of that. Have fun! CJ |
