| Post subject: | Paint codes on rear axle |
I have a 7.25" axle from an early 70's Dart. There are remains of yellow and red paint on it and some scribbling in white.     Does anyone have any thoughts on what the colored paint is for? I am guessing they are inspection marks, but for what inspection? It looks to have a cast date of 7/23/70. Is this correct? |
