Does anyone have a source for a pitman arm for a 62 Valiant? NAPA tells me it's an obsolete part.
Thanks.
Joe

Joe-- rock auto doesn't list this either-- it will be an expensive item to obtain-- what is wrong with yours?

as clean as your car looks i would think this item would still be good-- all the 62-66 cars I parted that item was ok, Lawrence

Lawrence, My proud beauty has a little over 120,xxx on her and for some reason, the pitman arm is worn. I had the front end realigned because the tires were starting to cup and the alignment guy found it. He didn't try to sell the job to me, just pointed it out. That and a ball joint down the road.
Everything else looked good. Who knows??
Joe

The autozone website shows a look up for the rareparts pitman arm $110 PN 20112. I found a few years back the dealers (like Autozone) sell rareparts stuff for less than if you order it direct from rare parts.

See if you can find a parts dealer in your area that has a wholesale agreement with Rareparts, you could save some money.

I think you should have done a little bit of research even further in purchasing your Pitman Arm for your vehicle. But if you have it right now and you are now contented with it, then it's all good. Hope all is well with your vehicle with the Pitman Arm that is installed now.

That site does not list a pitman arm for his application.
