Post subject: Tubular K-frame?

I was on moparts.com the other day and camr across this website www.dareracing.com. This guy makes tubular k-frames that accept stock suspension parts. This is totally new to me or am I just late to find out? Let me know your opinions. Thanks.

I saw that the other day. The only drawback I see to it is that it retains the torsion bars. It is reasonably pricey for just a tube K-frame. Dennis

That's lightweight, Chrome-Molly is strong, but I wonder how it would hold up on the street?

Seems like there are a few different suppliers getting into the fabricated tube K-member market.
Seymour listed another supplier in the latest SSRN, showed a pic of the kit, looked like a nice way to loose a few lbs off the front suspension.
As Dennis said, these units carry a pretty high price tag so I would spend that $$ on other mods. first.
