hi all, just joined in and will have alot of questions in the future, hope you dont mind. iv'e bought a 72 dart with the 225, and will eventually put a/c on. i've found an 83 d150 with the newer radial compressor. will all the brackets and pulleys fit on the 72 block? thanks again, dave.

Yes it will, but two things I will mention, 1st make sure to get the A/C drive pulley from the donor engine. That is the pulley on the rear of the damper. The damper must be removed from the engine, to remove the pulley. Also if you are planning on changing manifolds to performance pieces, there may be fitment problems.
Personally, I don't like the new replacement C-171 compressors (stock), they are "copycats". I really am not a fan of any rebuilt compressors. I like the "genuwine" Sanden compressors, and have also had good results with the "copy cat" Sandens.

thanks charlie, i'm going to keep the stock manifold with carb. i have a good sanden left from a previous install and might get the bracket set. just want to have it all together when i get around to doing it.
