I have the super six installed in my dodge a100 truck. The engine runs great but i'm struggling on what to get for the linkage between the pedal to the the carb, and the linkage to the transmission. The current linkage to the pedal is a solid rod. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

Yea, I got one!!!!!!!!! I wound up having to use a go kart cable for mine. With the way the linkage is and all, I used a Weber carb as the way the throttle is would be the easiest way to make it work. Everything else is pretty much the same. |

I have a 69 a 100 as well. I have had it for years, but finally starting to make haste and get it on the road. lots of body work to do. I have a carter carb on mine, and i purchased a Lokar cable for the transmission. i guess I'll have to retro fit something for throttle control since currently i have the solid rod from the pedal to carb. |

i did it, 2! slipped in a set of Clifford shorties 2. many years b4 i found a A100 in a junk yard with a cable linkage from the pedal to the 1 bbl. i grabbed it and it turned out to work great for the BBD. i don't know if it was a factory set up or it had been converted b4 arriving at the junk yard |

I swapped a 2bbl and intake in my 87 d150. the throttle cable is flexible enough to change direction. I made a custom linkage for the downshift. can send you a picture if you like. |

the best scrap part are the cables of the new magnum engines(93-02), just get the tlb bracket and the levers from the trans along with the cables. |

I was able to use the stock rod to the pedal. I got some rod ends and all thread material from OSH to adapt it to the carb. It could still use some tweaking. I need to put a bend in it to achieve full throttle (its close but not quite there) I'm just too lazy to take the doghouse off again. |

Yes, I have one. What an improvement in this beast. The trick is to use the throttle cable that the early a100s use. I believe in 67, they went over to the long throttle rod. Just remember to set your cable such that when you mash your foot to the floor, the throttle is JUST off Wide open throttle. That way even when you do mash your foot to the floor, you won't stress the cable in any way. Being 1 degree off of WOT will not make any difference in performance. Hope this helps.
