The show was a success! I spent Thursday and Friday working out kinks and programing and got around to cleaning but no polishing and detailing. The attention at the show was awsome and yes Doug, I have a few pics of the people around it and not the B body big blocks.

Performance? This is definitely NOT my Gramma's /6. Even with only a few days of tuning, I have small block V8 power and the good news is that its available in the 1500 to 3000 rpm range. To date, the fuel economy appears to be better than before but I will test this later. It is responsive and crisp . . .and its whines! Exactly what I want in a daily driver.

I have also finished the 1st draft of the website describing my project and have it on the location below temporarily. Its big with lots of pic's so be patient on the 1st download. Most pic's are thumbnails which when clicked show the big pic. I hope you enjoy the surfing.
A special thanks to all you on this website who so freely share your knowledge. May it continue.

That is a beautiful car! Nothing run-of-the-mill about it, and that's what I love in a car. I hope I get to see it in person some day.

What a great job and a sweet car. Thanks for sharing all of that with us, Al. I hope I get to see that car someday in person too.

Happy rodding,

Lou

Thanks for the report Al, great job, what a cool car!

Ya know, if you head south on a little "shake-out drive" late next week, you could find yourself at the St. Louis Monster Mopar show & SL6 Race! ; - o

Guys, I would love to spend next summer cruising around from state to state, one car show/race to the next. My buddy and I are toying with the idea but there are still some hurdles . . .
More info on our show, we had some real nice slant vehicles show including an Austrailian Wayfarer. See the pic's at our club's website under SHOW REPORTS, Pic's of slant 6 theme cars.
Enjoy!

Hello Al

Congatulations on that awsome car. You did a great job. Hope to see it in person some day. If I ever finish mine I hope it looks half as nice as yours.

You're welcome . . . I hope that people find the info both interesting and useful as they contemplate making changes with their own rides.
