http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/noname40.html I want the car to ride at the stock height in the rear. The rear springs are original and sagging at this point. Just looking to bring it back to stock. I don't what it all jacked up in the back though. I've also heard the re-arching old springs really don't last to long. I don't remember, but I think my 67 cuda weights about 3500 lbs. |

Yes, give ESPO a call, they don’t list any A body springs, but will make up any configuration; ride height, number of leaves whatever you want. And, the price is right. |

I just bought 6-leaf springs from ESPO. $225 for the springs, extra $40 to get them 2" under stock ride height and shipping was a killer since they went all the way from PA to WA. $373 in parts with the poly bushings, shackles, bolts and everything. $86 in shipping. |

I bought a pair of 5 leaf rear springs from McVeigh. They raised the rear about an inch. Since I did a complete rebuild of the front and rear ends and added a front sway bar, it's hard for me to comment on the change that just the rear springs made in the ride and handling. How do I know if I need 4,5,6 leaf springs or do I just call them and say I am looking for stock height and something that'll last and not get saggy in a couple years? Let them make the judgement call??? I drive around town most of the time and hit the track 4-5 times a year. |

 To high  This seems good. Its hard to see but in my sig picture below, this is my current rear ride height. Seems a little low to me. More importantly, the rear is riding on the rubber bump stops if the fuel tank is full and an adult is in the back seat. |

"re-arching old springs really don't last to long" That is a myth, when they rearch they do it manually with a sledge and the spring becomes work hardened. Leaf springs can be rearched for about $80.... ,Cliff |

Re arch works fine . I sold my car before the springs sagged again , that was 4 years no sag |
