Hi,
I am running a stock exhaust manifold and I am about to have a new exhaust put on my car. The stock down tube off the manifold is necked down to about 1 1/4" dia. and seems to be the most restrictive part of my exhast right now. I would like to get a new down tube or make one that is about 2 1/4". Any idea where I can get a flange to bolt up to it or do I need to find some thick metal and make one myself. Are there any stock model that have larger down tubes I could go find at the junk yard?
By the way it was a sad day today, the junkyard I go to to get parts for my car crushed the 64 dart that I was getting parts off of. It was all there just missing the parts I bought off it. I did manage to get the AC system off of it, Radio, and the crank pulley. But there was alot of stuff I still wanted.
