Flat stuff is easy to find at The Home Depot or Tap Plastics. Percy's doesn't seem to have anything for our cars unless you have a '67-'69 Barracuda. http://www.percyshp.com/store/speedglas ... at_31.html

I just bought some Lexan for my Mud drag car. I got it from the local glass shop. They do a lot of work on big machines (excavators, Yarders, Loaders). The stuff I got is Worksafe certified.

The stuff I got was 1/4" and I paid $69 for a 34"x 24" piece. If you have a pattern they will cut it nicely for free.

Lexan is now where near the same as the crap plexiglass available from the lumber yard.

I bought 1/4" b4ecause mud cars sometimes throw rocks off the front wheels.....otherwise 3/16" will probably do.

It cuts and installs like aluminum.

I think the FSM has information about correct preposition installation.......

I don't know what it is but I buy all my window Lexan products from the round de round racers. Or Circle track mags. Just pick a windshield larger than your own and trim it. With proper care it will not scratch or discolor. I've been running the same front windshield now for 12 yrs...........They also have the flat glass and the products to make it last.
They have a lot of products slant 6 racers can use ..........Like adjustable spring perches. Best item I ever purchased. You can adjust side to side,or up and down to fit your launch in about 15 min.

hope this helps someone
