Post subject: | Fuel Cell |
I have my fuel cell mounted in the car now. But I need some guidance on the venting. My cell has an outlet on the bottom and 2 fittings on the top. Are these both vents? Can they be tied together? And any special routing needed on the vent lines? Thanks in advance, Rick |

one is the return line for efi, that would be the one with the line going down into the foam. Just cap it off. Will |

Do I need to have foam in the tank? Mine does not have any. Rick |

Foam helps to reduce slosh and arrest fire, but it's not essential unless the track rules make it a requirement. To me, and many sanctioning bodies, a fuel cell has a flexible bladder inside a metal can. The metal can can be punctured and not spill any fuel. Without the bladder it's just a fuel tank. |

Thanks Josh, and I understand. Mine is a gas tank. No bladder. ![]() Rick |
