Dan's been around, he's just busy, and is taking a somewhat lower profile these days.

Wrong. No sugar-coating for me, thanks, Ceej.

I am busy, yes, but that's not new. Fact is, I've had my fill of cleaning up after the messes made by certain aggressive posters who take delight in makin' stuff up in response to legitimate questions. I have no idea why some people get a kick out of telling fairytales about carburetors and such, but I have more important things to do than correct deliberate misinformation again and again and again. I've put a lot of work into advancing the availability of solid, sound information on this board; there's close to 20k of my posts available on here to anyone who can figure out how to click the "Search" button and wishes to know my opinion or recommendation on whatever topic is at hand. That's plenty; I'm done. I wish most of you all the best. Keep the shiny side up and keep smiling.

Me, I'm turning my focus to parts. Anyone who wants a new turn signal switch is welcome to send me a PM. Gas caps are next on the list.

(I don't post on FABO any more, either, for different reasons.)

Dan,
I would like to thank you for all of your contributions to this board. I think that you have helped build a community here, even if it is a virtual one. Any of your posts that I read were legitimate facts, usually backed up with some documentation.
I appreciate your honesty, and no-nonsense attitude.

Take care brother!

Hopefully we will hear from you occasionally, but I think I understand your reasons for not being here.

Wes

You asked for it, (begged for it) and he finally did it.

May you live in interesting times.

I hope you all enjoy the new pecking order that you have created. Neil, you are public enemy #1. Ceej, you are complicit. Doug, I warned you. Dan, I have never been more proud of you than I am today. Chuck, you need to get a handle on this $#!+ and I mean right now.

None of this matters any more, you can all splutter and curse til the cows come home. I never missed this place.

Take care Ron Parker, I always liked you regardless.
