I was in a salvage yard today and saw a 4dr Volare. It still had the super six carb,air cleaner and both manifolds all for $60. What else should I buy off of this car??? Is that a good price??? |

Score! Yes, that's a good price! The trans linkage, like Richard said, and also the triangle washers and nuts. Did this car have a grille? |

D'oh! How did that slip my mind?!? Yes, grab any of the ignition components that you can. If this car still has it's taillights, someone would want them too. |

I'm going out tomorrow to pull the carb and related parts. I'll let ya know about the grill. |

I'll pass on the grille, but if it does have one, someone will be sure to want it. Grilles for '78 and '79 Volares that are intact are kind of rare. The taillights and headlight bezels would be good to get. Whatever else you can grab off the engine would be good, if the price is right. |
