Post subject:  Disc Brake Upgrade Seals

I'm slowly upgrading the brakes on my 65 Barracuda from 9" drums to disc brakes from a 74 Duster. Before mounting the power brake booster on my Barracuda, I thought I would clean them up and give the brackets a coat of paint.

Now that I have everything apart, I see that the Duster's gaskets and seals are shot. I would like to replace the following items:
  • Firewall Gasket (square shape with 4 bolt holes)
  • Brake Pedal Push Rod Grommet (fits inside plate over firewall gasket and seals the push rod
  • Power Brake Booster Boot (seals the booster's push rod
I see that a number of places have firewall gasket kits but I could just use the above 3 items. I could also make the firewall gasket if but these gaskets seem fairly inexpensive. Any suggestions as to where I could get these parts?

Also, between the booster and the master cylinder, there's a spacer with a plastic insert. Under the plastic insert appears to a foam filter, presumably to keep the dust out of the bellows in the booster. Any recommendations for what type of foam I could use to replace this part?

Check with Detroit Muscle, they make all sorts of body gaskets for our cars. Perhaps they can send you just the few that you need.
