My old carb is pretty much junk. Is there a newer model anything that would fit a 1975 dodge slant 6 engine ? It has a 1 bbl Holley 1920, I believe, right now . (numbers I found---12R-4285B and 6260 2 2135 . I hate to rebuild it again. Maybe something I can pull at the auto salvage. Thanks

The 1969 Dart 225 that I swapped into my '76 Valiant had a 1920 on it, and it was a bit worn out as well.

However, it was a good, rebuildable unit and I decided to keep and rebuild it with a Walker kit. It turned out great and I'm glad I kept it.

In fact, I was on the interstate with it about an hour ago (in Houston no less), keeping up nicely with the surrounding traffic. I guess you could go with a 1945, but you'd have to tweak some of the connections here and there, and I could be wrong, but I don't think you'd gain a lot over a quality rebuild on the 1920.

As an aside...my 1920 rebuild took me all of about two hours...and that's only because I had zero experience with it. If I have to do another one, I bet I can lick it in half the time.
