| Post subject: | Good Slant 6 Build? |
Hi, ive been in the mopar hobby since i could talk. I am now 20 and daring to be different. I have a 69 coronet wagon, 318 and a 68 dart with a 6. I was wondering if i could get some performance tips. I have a 225 from an 80's van. the head is different than the older style. Whitch one is better? I want a good slant 6, maby a stroker. I need info and sorces. Thanks |

See the FAQ section & look for the engine build matrix for some ideas. http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38446 http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23314 |

Talk to Frank about the aussie speed equipment. He's the US distributor. Can't speak to the 80's engine. Depends on what your trying to do. I have a stroker based on a '74 BH Block. This tends to be an expensive way to go about making power. It also limits some applications where higher engine speeds would be desireable, like drag racing. For gobs of torque, it's useful. For high end, not so much. My next engine will not be a stroker. It's all fun though! CJ 250" Stroker |
