I need to order a new set of bushings for my leaf springs, and I'd like to get polyurethane. However, when I do a search on the Energy Suspension site (and Summit), I get the leaf spring bushing sets, but they're for a 5/8" bolt instead of the 1/2" bolt that my car has. What do I need to order to get the correct size bushing? This is what I found: http://www.allsuspensionbushings.com/15427.html |

Had this problem on my '67...swapped a set of hangers from a 1974... I think you can drill those as well...I used a Grade 8 bolt of correct length... I have the energy suspension bushings on my rear springs and my tranny mount, and they seem to work well on my'76...we will see how they work on the '67 once it gets on the street.... -D.Idiot |

Also measure the ID of the spring eye. I ordered poly bushings for the rear springs on my 66 valiant, and they would not fit in the spring. I don't remember the size of my eye's or the bushing dia. Just looked up my sizes. My spring eyes were 1 3/8 inches, and the bushings PST sent were 1 1/2 inch. |

Charlie is right again, I had some left over bushings from kits that come with the large eye, and the small front eye. The small fit 67 up orignal springs but were too big for my 63 springs. They were poly and I had them turned down on a lathe to fit. |
