Long time member, first time poster here.
I sold my '63 Bel.,cleaned up my garage and found an Autopar Metolux Aluminum Cold Casting Kit p/n VU1003.
The kit contains 20oz of metal powder and 30 oz of "liquid"(as noted on the container)that smells like fiberglass resin...no hardener was present ...probly grew legs...
Specifically, I'm looking for mixing proportions. The containers do not indicate a specific ratio.
Anyone familiar with this product?. or know a "rule of thumb" when mixing this type of product?

Can you not contact the vendor or manufacturer? Seems you will need to anyway as you dont have the catlyst.

I found a vendor for Metolux in the UK and will contacting them. So far nothing but "NLS" on the Autopar brand from the dealerships that I used to frequent.
