For a factory piece you can try to find one from an A-100 van/pickup.
You can also got a generic chrome mount from Autozone and make it work.
I have done both.

just have the engine sitting in the bay right now with no mounts, and it appears that i won't be able to use the original alternator location due to the v shape of the engine compartment, and the engine leaning to the right. i only have a couple inches from the right front of the head to the inner fender panel. does anyone know of an alternator bracket that mounts it on the drivers side? not going to be running power steering, so i could put something there in place of the p/s pump. i can fabrcate brackets, but life would be easier if there was something out there that would work. |
