any one have experience with this, what about installation issues? steering effort? http://www.firmfeel.com/fastrati.htm they mention a 16:1 ratio, the manual box I am getting is the standard 24:1 thanks |

24:1 is the stock manual steering ratio and the only manual box Firm Feel shows to be available. I have run 16:1 manual steering and with DOT approved racing tires you have to be rolling to turn the steering wheel. Normal street tires probably wouldn't have this problem, and the steering effort while rolling isn't bad at all. About the only faster than stock manual steering box available now is from Flaming River. The long pitman and idler arm is another way to go so long as your center link can move back 1 1/2" and not hit anything. |

correcto on the 24:1 the long idler and pitman arm is what I was asking about , why would I not be able to move the center link back,, |
