Non slant six question. Does anyone have access to or can look up for me the front end bushings part numbers for a 1956 Plymouth 6 cyl? I have a feeling the bushings are not just for these cars but by the price quotes you'd think they were one year specific. Trying to find a newer car that used the same bushings so that when I have a supplier look up the parts I don't get gouged. Thanks in advance and sorry for the non slant post. |

55 & 56 use essentially the same front end. However, the 6s could be had with either a 10" or an 11" brake. It makes a difference, though not sure what would be different about the bushings. Kanter Auto Products ( http://www.kanter.com ) has a bushing set for $80.00. You may want to check parts houses in Hemmings for something this old. |
