arp says torque main studs to 110,book says 85,in slant sickness artical mains were torqued to 90.for the guys who run arp stuff what setting do you use.110 sounds excessive seeing it is 25 more than book but I am use to working very close tolerance thanks for any reply. robert

What torque did the machine shop use when they align honed the block?

don't know,I torqued to 90 and clearance was right in the middle.by the way thanks for the heads up about king bearing using them on rods and mains. thanks for the reply.sounds like 85-90 should be acceptable.but if not right please let me know.it's been along time since building all out
